Whether you choose to swim with the seals and dolphins or just observe them from the comfort of the boat, you will never forget this amazing experience.

Our cruises commence with an introductory on board snorkel demonstration, then cruising out into the sheltered shallows of Port Phillip Bay, with your new found skills we head off to Chinaman's Hat. A local spot where the ever curious Australian fur seals are waiting to share their water world with you.

From Chinaman's Hat, we cruise over to Popes Eye, (Marine National Park) for a look at the Australasian Gannets, and a snorkel around Victoria oldest marine national park.

From there on, we cruise magnificent Port Phillip Bay in search of the inspiring Bottlenose dolphins that we call our friends. When the dolphins are located, it's on with your mask and snorkel and you enter the water into their domain. This is truly an awesome experience and one you will never forget!

As all our cruises are weather dependent please allow for some flexibility due to weather and water conditions. While our guests have been enjoying our huge success rate of swimming with the dolphins, it must be appreciated that there are no guarantees or refunds.

If travelling from Melbourne why not make use of our pickup service departing from all Melbourne hotels and Federation Square daily. For more information contact our booking office.

Whether sightseeing or snorkelling your seal and dolphin encounter on-board Moonraker will be one you will remember forever.

This experience is available from October - June ONLY.

Sorrento on the Bay

Sorrento
Continental Hotel in Sorrento

The seaside village of Sorrento is one of the most popular and pretty holiday escapes on the Mornington Peninsula. Sorrento is located at the southern extremity of the peninsula at the entrance to Port Phillip Bay and provides a beautiful and picturesque outlook. The village is known for its historic buildings, cafes, shopping and resident population of bottlenose dolphins.

Seaside escape
The gentle front beach is an ideal place to wile away some time, have a picnic, go for a stroll, take a cooling swim or keep watch for wild bottlenose dolphins which play in the clean bay waters. For some surf-pounding action, the back beach on the Bass Strait side of the peninsula is close by. Sorrento offers a long list of other recreational opportunities, including golf, bushwalking, sailing, scuba diving, fishing and boating.

Attractions
Most of Sorrento's attractions are within walking distance and the village has earned acclaim for its historic buildings, many made from local limestone giving them a unique character. Impressive hotels, excellent eateries, sidewalk cafes, boutiques, galleries and specialist shops add extra appeal to the Sorrento experience.
